Why do Conservatives want to erase Political correctness?

I understand how sometime Political Correctness could be a nuisances at times but why are Conservatives totally against the concept of Political Correctness. Do Conservatives want things to be like the pre-civil rights era when racial slurs were openly used or racially profile every minority as you please without restrictions of the 4th Amendment? Is that the Conservative dream on eliminating Political Correctness?
