Does anyone know of a psychiatric prescribed drug to prevent dreaming?

Doing research for a book. I need to know if there is a pill on the market that will prevent REM sleep. I have heard of such, but was never interested until now. Any help appreciated. Oh, by the way. I'm a gamer so if you feel the need to point out all the illegal fad drugs that can do the same, feel free if you really must. Any help appreciated.
