Why do you ume that Christians are idiots?

It is umed that I (a Christian) do not believe in science (I AM A SCIENTIST!), that I don't research things and I am generally thought poorly of because of a few vocal freaks that profess Christianity. This is from people that have never engaged me in conversation. I am sick of all the hate speech against me because I am a Christian, This is America and you and I can believe whatever we want to. Do not ume that all Christians are ignorant- that is BIGOTRY Yes, I am mad and you would be too if you faced prejudice every day from people who think they are so "enlightened". I do not want your fake pity but for you to shut up.
