I woke up this morning vomiting. It was about half a liter of pure bile! I know this is gross but I when?

I am sick I got to extreme measures to make sure I do not throw up. I get really sore for about three days. Does nayone else go through this after vomiting? Any thoughts as to why I get so sore I can barely breathe?
