A demon that i don't know is in my astral temple... what do i do?

Well, demon or some other sort of spiritual entity. Do I approach it? I know it could be dangerous, but I can't really perform rituals with some random spirit hanging around, can I? I always thought they could only get in if you invited them. This is confusing.
